Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of industrial cleaning tasks, including cleaning of tanks, vessels, silos, and pits for a wide-ranging client base.
- Operate industrial services HGV jetting and vacuum units, as well as bulk liquid tankers.
- Occasionally travel to meet client service demands.
- Provide exceptional service by engaging with internal and external customers in a friendly, professional manner and leaving a positive impression.
- Assess and select effective jetting or cleaning methods for heavy industrial plant operations using company-supplied technology, vehicles, and equipment.
- Deliver services that meet or exceed customer expectations, including the use of established and emerging technologies.
- Operate safely and professionally at all times, ensuring the health and safety of yourself and others (colleagues, contractors, visitors, and clients).
- Use, maintain and care for equipment and materials in line with operating procedures.
- Safely operate company vehicles, minimise risk of injury or damage, and ensure correct weight distribution (max. 32 tonnes for Jet-Vac units, 44 tonnes for tankers).
- Conduct and record daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks; ensure secure storage of vehicles and equipment.
- Monitor personal working hours to remain compliant with EU driver regulations and the Working Time Directive.
- Handle and transport Dangerous Goods in accordance with ADR regulations.
- Be flexible to work away from home when required to meet business and client needs.
- Carry out additional duties as required within the scope of the role and your capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence (HGV C&E)
- High Pressure Water Jetting certificate
- Confined Space
- Some training can be provided for suitable candidates
Desirable Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the maintenance of high pressure water jetting and large industrial vacuum plants
