We are currently looking to expand our team and are recruiting for the following position: Prevention Key Worker TLS. The Targeted Lifeskills Service offers an age appropriate lifeskills and harm reduction programme for groups of young people aged 11-21 that are at risk of alcohol or drug use. ASCERT provides this service in the Western Trust area and in partnership with Start360 in the Northern Trust area. It is available to organisations or services working with existing groups of young people that they consider are at a higher risk of alcohol or drug use problems than young people generally. They may be at risk because of their behaviours, personal circumstances, where they live, or there may be evidence that they are already experimenting with substances.

The Lifeskills programme is normally 4-8 sessions, which are interactive and designed to cater to the needs of the young people, taking into account their age and learning ability. The programme will always be delivered in a venue of the referrer's choice, or in their premises.

JOB Title: Prevention Key Worker TLS (Maternity Cover)

RESPONSIBLE TO: Service Manager

LOCATION: Western Trust - Based in the Omagh Office with Service Delivery throughout the Western Trust Area

LENGTH OF POST: Until April 2027

HOURS: 35 hours

SALARY: SCP Pt 17 £31,021.92 per annum Plus 4% Pension
