Ascenza is the crop Protection branch, a benchmark independent player in the off-patented South-European, Brazilian and Mexican markets, with a leading position in Iberia.

Mission: Ensure the monitoring of analyses and the isolation of chemical compounds carried out by the Screening & Synthesis Laboratory, in accordance with defined procedures and in compliance with identified legal obligations.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing orders;
  • Control of consumables and solvent stock;
  • Preparation and replacement of solvents in the UPLC;
  • Performing maintenance and cleaning of the equipment under their responsibility;
  • Responsible for maintaining the database of actives, metabolites, and impurities;
  • Preparation of samples and solutions;
  • Management of the reagents database;
  • Support in the synthesis and purification of organic compounds;
  • Qualification and maintenance of chromatographic columns.

The talent we're looking for:

  • 12th grade education in a Vocational Technical Course in Chemistry or equivalent;
  • Higher Technical Professional Courses (CTeSP – preferred);
  • Professional experience in similar roles (preferred);
  • Good English skills (spoken and written);
  • Computer literacy from a user's perspective (Excel, Word, etc.);
  • Good organizational skills, sense of responsibility and dynamism;
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
