Ascenza is the crop Protection branch, a benchmark independent player in the off-patented South-European, Brazilian and Mexican markets, with a leading position in Iberia.
Mission: Ensure the monitoring of analyses and the isolation of chemical compounds carried out by the Screening & Synthesis Laboratory, in accordance with defined procedures and in compliance with identified legal obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing orders;
- Control of consumables and solvent stock;
- Preparation and replacement of solvents in the UPLC;
- Performing maintenance and cleaning of the equipment under their responsibility;
- Responsible for maintaining the database of actives, metabolites, and impurities;
- Preparation of samples and solutions;
- Management of the reagents database;
- Support in the synthesis and purification of organic compounds;
- Qualification and maintenance of chromatographic columns.
The talent we're looking for:
- 12th grade education in a Vocational Technical Course in Chemistry or equivalent;
- Higher Technical Professional Courses (CTeSP – preferred);
- Professional experience in similar roles (preferred);
- Good English skills (spoken and written);
- Computer literacy from a user's perspective (Excel, Word, etc.);
- Good organizational skills, sense of responsibility and dynamism;
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
