- Complete New Employee Orientation within 60 days from date of hire.
- Works assigned schedule directed by the consumer.
- Demonstrates strong time management skills and is on time for scheduled work appointments
- Adheres to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of all information pertaining to clients, families and employees.
- Follows standards for health and safety according to the Ascentria “Consumer Site and Home Safety Checklist”.
- Works within the approved hours without overages.
- Demonstrates and utilizes proper use of phone-in timecard system.
- Communicates with supervisor in a timely manner (within 24 hours) regarding both consumer and administrative issues.
- Attends scheduled meetings with Regional Care Coordinator.
- Completes all required trainings by deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Attends annual In-Home Care Appreciation Event.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict and/or difficult situations by executing proper interpersonal skills and de-escalation techniques.
- Demonstrates on a daily basis a full understanding of Ascentria’s Ethic’s Statement
- Demonstrates clear understanding of professional boundaries at all times according to Ascentria training.
