Your purpose as an Ascenti Physiotherapist is to change people’s lives every day. As a Senior Regional Physiotherapist, you will support patients when they are most in need by providing continuity of care when their usual therapist is away. This will prevent unnecessary delays to their care and help to maximise their rehabilitation outcomes. Additionally, you will facilitate the wellbeing of your physiotherapy colleagues by providing cover that allows them to have time off when needed.
Using contemporary and evidence-informed treatment and management methods, you will have the technology, tools, and support needed to thrive as a clinician and deliver outstanding services to patients. Our nationwide work varies, which means that you could be managing a range of patients, from office workers and private medical insurance customers to NHS patients and those referred for accident-related injuries. There may also be the opportunity or need for you to work from home to deliver these services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a clinical caseload of patients presenting with a variety of conditions and goals.
- Use high quality neuromusculoskeletal assessment skills to develop evidence-informed treatment and management plans.
- Build rapport and therapeutic relationships with patients in a professional manner.
- Manage sensitive subjects and cultural differences with patients diplomatically.
- Use digital health tools and rehabilitation app to prescribe online resources and home-exercise programmes.
- Maintain high standards of professional conduct and comply with legal, regulatory, and governance requirements.
- Contribute to local service improvement and support implementation/change.
- Utilise the support of our Clinical Development Team for complex cases.
- Attend regular courses and events for professional development.

Essential Experience And Qualifications
- Strong neuromusculoskeletal knowledge and skills.
- Core standards of physiotherapy practice and code of conduct outlined by the HCPC.
- Excellent IT skills and computer literacy.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal patient communication skills.
- Significant experience (minimum 3 years within MSK Physiotherapy).
- BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree of 2:2 or above.
- Full Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) membership.
