As the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), you will be responsible for partnering with key stakeholders to deliver growth and strategic Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will work alongside commercial, strategic, and operational departments to understand the link between financial and operational performance, provide insightful analysis, and collaborate on business planning and navigation to strategic success.
The purpose of this role is to drive the financial performance and strategic growth of the company by providing expert financial leadership and commercial insight. This includes overseeing the financial planning and analysis function, collaborating with various departments to support business decision-making, and ensuring the alignment of financial strategies with the company's overall objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
- Identifying opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimisation, and risk management.
- Contributing to the company's profitability and long-term success through strategic financial management and proactive commercial support.
This role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions. A hands-on approach and comfort with detailed month-end review processes are essential.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis works alongside the Heads of Finance to form the finance leadership team. This highly visible role interacts regularly with the Executive Team, Head of Finance, and senior management teams, and may involve some interaction with external parties such as large customers or partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with leaders within operational and commercial departments to provide financial advice and support.
- Taking a joint ownership approach to business delivery and success.
- Producing ad-hoc financial models to support the evaluation of growth opportunities and scenario planning.
- Leading budgeting and forecasting processes across the Group.
- Providing insightful revenue and contribution analysis to finance and business leadership teams.
- Building pricing and margin models for deal modelling and planning scenarios.
- Playing a key role in the strategic planning process by working closely with commercial and operations teams.
