Your key responsibilities as a Conveyancing Fee Earner would be:
- Dealing with all aspects of the residential process on behalf of our clients, mortgage lenders, who have repossessed residential properties due to mortgage arrears or another breach.
- Dealing with preparation of memos of sales and auction packs.
- Reviewing residential titles on instruction from Client and providing Reports on title.
- Deal with clients and solicitors in an efficient and professional manner.
- Preparing, reviewing and issuing sales contracts and supporting documents.
- Answering client queries, providing status advice and keeping all parties informed on progress of sale.
- Liaise with asset managers to provide a smooth transaction.
- Dealing with exchange of Contracts in a timely manner.
- Dealing with post sales matters including distribution of surplus funds as and where applicable.
Requirements:
- Essential:
- Previous experience in a residential paralegal role.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including a minimum C grade in English and Maths.
- Has a professional and committed attitude and seeks to aspire to targets set.
- Computer literate in all Microsoft Office programs.
- Has a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
- Sound knowledge of law and legal System.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Familiar with electronic document management and filing systems.
- High level of discretion with confidential matters.
- Desirable:
- Law degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge of CPR Rules.
- Experience of working for financial services businesses in a legal environment.
- Experience of working in the legal industry and/or in-house with a top financial services organisation.
