Our client is an award winning and highly successful vehicle body repair centre with multiple body repair centres within Surrey Berkshire. Due to on-going growth, we now require an Assistant Workshop Controller to work within the state of the art repair centre.
Responsibilities Include:
- Control and supervise staff in the use of equipment and tools.
- Delivery of Toolbox talks on the use of power tooling and other H S matters.
- Monitor workshop technicians safe working practices.
- Ensure all staff training is up to date and in line with company and manufacturer requirements.
- Organise movement of cars in and out of production.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, and industry specifications.
- Assist the Bodyshop Manager with compliance.
- Assist the Bodyshop manager with the maintenance and upkeep of the compliance portal.
- Assist the Bodyshop Manager during manufacturer audits and Health and safety Inspections.
- Carry out Quality Assurance and Quality Control on all completed vehicles ensuring exact methods have been followed and job cards have been adhered to.
- Deputise for the Workshop Controller in their absence.
