The Opportunity
Our client is a fast-growing technology business providing digital solutions to a broad range of retail organisations. With an established presence across the UK and growing international markets, the business is continuing to expand its technology and design capabilities.
As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint a Web UX/UI Designer with a strong ecommerce focus to join their IT Design & Development function.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of the design and development of high-quality, responsive ecommerce websites, working closely with retail clients to create digital experiences that are visually engaging, intuitive and commercially effective.
The successful candidate will combine strong design capability with an understanding of web technologies, UX principles and ecommerce best practice. You will also have the opportunity to explore and introduce new AI-powered tools and technologies that improve both the customer experience and the efficiency of the wider team.
What You'll Be Doing Ecommerce Design & Website Delivery
Design and deliver new ecommerce websites and enhancements for existing client sites.
Translate client requirements and briefs into engaging, intuitive and commercially focused digital experiences.
Ensure websites are responsive, consistent and optimised across desktop, tablet and mobile.
Apply modern UX/UI principles throughout the design and delivery process.
Ensure client branding and identity are accurately represented across all digital touchpoints.
Manage projects through to completion, working within agreed deadlines and quality standards.
