Ascent Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a market leader in Manchester to recruit an experienced Credit Controller.
The Role:
- Managing your own portfolio of client accounts, ensuring outstanding debt is collected in a timely and professional manner.
- Working towards and achieving monthly cash collection targets through proactive credit control activities.
- Building strong relationships with clients to deliver an excellent level of customer service while maintaining effective credit control.
- Investigating and resolving invoice and billing queries by liaising with internal departments to ensure prompt resolution.
- Reconciling customer accounts, identifying outstanding balances and resolving any discrepancies using Excel.
- Producing and issuing monthly customer statements.
- Monitoring daily cash receipts and ensuring account information is accurate and up to date.
- Processing credit notes following the appropriate approval process.
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc credit control and accounts receivable activities as required.
About You:
- To be considered, you’ll ideally have previous Credit Control experience within a medium or large organisation.
