Financial Reporting Manager

Overview Ascent Recruitment is supporting a successful insurance business in Manchester City Centre in their search for a Financial Reporting Manager. This is a key leadership role reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting as their number 2, working closely with the CFO, and leading a team of accountants. Responsibilities Delivering accurate and timely financial reporting (internal, UK GAAP, and tax returns) Co-ordinating external audits and regulatory reporting (ONS, CBI, rating agencies) Supporting Finance, Audit, Compliance, and Risk Committees Implementing accounting standards and financial controls Driving process improvements and automation Team Management Skills
