Overview
Ascent Recruitment is supporting a successful insurance business in Manchester City Centre in their search for a Financial Reporting Manager. This is a key leadership role reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting as their number 2, working closely with the CFO, and leading a team of accountants.
Responsibilities
- Delivering accurate and timely financial reporting (internal, UK GAAP, and tax returns)
- Co-ordinating external audits and regulatory reporting (ONS, CBI, rating agencies)
- Supporting Finance, Audit, Compliance, and Risk Committees
- Implementing accounting standards and financial controls
- Driving process improvements and automation
- Team Management
