Ascent Recruitment is pleased to partner exclusively with a market-leading business in Cheshire to appoint a commercially minded and ambitious Finance Manager. This broad role reports to an outstanding Finance Director and offers clear progression (to Financial Controller and future equity), a brilliant culture, and hands-on involvement and commercial input across a group of companies.
This is a fantastic opportunity for either an ambitious Management Accountant to step into their first Finance Manager role, or a Finance Manager looking for a new challenge.
- Own month-end and year-end reporting, including group consolidation and balance sheet reconciliations
- Produce MI packs, KPI analysis, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
- Partner with leadership teams to drive business planning and performance
- Evaluate acquisitions and investments, including financial modelling and due diligence
- Lead or support various strategic finance projects
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Strong communicator with a commercial mindset
