Commercial Finance Analyst

Ascent Recruitment is pleased to exclusively support a leading business in Salford in their search for a Finance Analyst/Finance Business Partner.

This role will support operations teams and senior stakeholders, delivering accurate financial reports, forecasts, and insightful analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and manage clear financial and management reports, including variance and cost analysis.
• Challenge and support financial performance, identifying exceptions and driving improvements.
• Prepare and review financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and complete accurate reconciliations.
• Promote and improve financial processes to help managers drive performance.
• Lead robust forecasting, budgeting, and support business planning.
• Partner with non-financial senior stakeholders and teams to improve reporting understanding.
• Identify and assess risk in line with policies and controls.

Requirements:

• Strong background in financial analysis/business partnering
• Strong Excel skills
• Resilient under pressure and focused on continuous improvement.
• Growth mindset – interested in learning new skills

Package:

• Up to £55,000, plus bonus
• Hybrid working – from Salford
