Ascent Recruitment is pleased to support a fast-growing, private equity-backed business seeking a Financial Controller to lead their finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll be responsible for internal and external reporting, financial controls, cash forecasting, team management, and supporting strategic growth. This role will suit either a qualified first or second-time mover from practice, looking to step up, or a Finance Manager looking for a new challenge.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead finance operations
- Oversee timely, accurate management accounts and board packs
- Oversee audit and statutory submissions
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Liaise with banks, manage reporting and funding
- Support business-wide cost analysis
- Drive process improvement and mentor the team
