About the Role

We’re seeking an exceptional Senior UX Engineer to lead my clients’ user experience team and drive the design of their cloud‑based web applications. This is a hands‑on technical leadership role where you’ll guide a team of 2 UX professionals while remaining deeply involved in the technical and creative aspects of user experience design. Working closely with the lead product specialists, you’ll shape how the global user base interacts with these software solutions, ensuring exceptional usability across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership & Collaboration
    • Lead and mentor a team of 2 UX professionals
    • Collaborate closely with lead product specialists and cross‑functional teams
    • Drive UX strategy and vision across the organization
  • Hands‑on Design & Technical Work
    • Design and prototype user interfaces for cloud‑based web applications
    • Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes
    • Ensure technical feasibility and implementation of UX solutions
    • Maintain design systems and UI component libraries
  • Research & Strategy
    • Conduct user research and usability testing
    • Analyze product landscape and competitive positioning
    • Gather and synthesize customer insights from a usability perspective
    • Lead proactive research initiatives to identify new opportunities
    • Translate research findings into actionable design recommendations

Essential Requirements

  • Education: Degree qualified (ideally in UX / UI Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, or related field)
  • Experience: Proven background in usability and user interface design
  • Technical Skills: Strong experience with cloud‑based web application design
  • Tool knowledge: Figma, Sketch, Axure RP, Balsamiq, Adobe XD, Miro, and UXPin
  • Design Expertise: Solid foundation in visual design principles and tools
  • Leadership: Experience leading and developing UX teams
  • Research Skills: Hands‑on experience with user research methodologies
