The Role

Global Software House is looking for a Test / QA Delivery Manager to lead a team of automation and performance testers in a continuous delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • 80/20 line management and hands-on DevOps.
  • Own and deliver on a tight testing, cloud, and infrastructure roadmap covering all software programmes.
  • Collaborate with technical department heads to ensure stable and automated build/deploy/test process for software products.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to direct reports.
  • Continuously review, improve and ensure compliance with appropriate technical standards.
  • Ensure effective communication of all developments and releases to the appropriate business areas.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience heading a team of automation and performance testers.
  • Leadership experience in a test team/QA environment with continuous delivery.
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies, software delivery, Agile development, application lifecycle management tools including VSTS.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to extract and clearly present key risks and issues.
  • Excellent time-management, prioritisation and organisational skills.

Candidate Fit

A hands-on manager comfortable with an 80/20 management/hands-on role and who can lead without significant hand-holding.
