Role: Automated Software Tester / Test Analyst required to architect, develop and maintain C#/.Net automated test systems for their flagship product. You will take the lead in creating an automated testing environment for this Global Software house.

You must be able to show proven experience of working in a full lifecycle development environment for windows/web applications and have experience in the following:

  • Designed and created an automated testing environment
  • Automated Testing tools: Ranorex, Testcomplete, QTP, Selenium
  • Programming languages: C#, Java, C++
  • Solid understanding of the software under Test
  • Writing test scripts, Test Execution
  • Change management

An excellent communicator is required to do this role as you will be the main driving force behind implementing this new automated testing environment. You will also guide and assist the current manual testing team in improving their scripts. It goes without saying that you will be a strong team player.

This is such an exciting role for someone. The opportunity to go into a company and influence the way software development is done moving forward is a rarity these days. You will work closely with all senior developers and product managers and share ownership of product quality with the QA Team, together produce cutting edge commercial software for a global market.

This role is based out of their East Midlands, UK office, commutable from Nottingham, Derby and Leicester.

Client: Global client belonging to a prestigious group of US owned companies and market leader in the development of these niche "off the shelf" software. They have a presence in all four corners of the world and are acquiring new companies on an annual basis. Environmentally aware, they continue to monitor the impact of all of their operations and are always looking to improve.
