Job Description
The role involves designing and overseeing the implementation of enterprise‑level IT infrastructure solutions, with a focus on cloud and on‑premise technologies. The architect will work closely with stakeholders and the Enterprise Architecture team to develop and maintain technology roadmaps, standards, and patterns. While hands‑on support is not required, the position requires coaching, mentoring and collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with key stakeholders and other architecture team members.
- Define and be accountable for IT technology roadmaps that support team goals.
- Assist in developing the Technical Architecture function, including processes and standards.
- Produce architecture designs, standards, building blocks and patterns for the technology & service offering.
- Project manage implementations in both waterfall and agile environments.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in enterprise, infrastructure, network or IT system architecture design.
- Strong knowledge of the TOGAF framework.
- Hands‑on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, both on‑premise and cloud‑native.
- Experience with Azure AD, virtualization (VMware & OpenStack), containerization, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps and Ansible.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
