Overview

A leading software house is seeking a SQL Server Developer (SSRS) to join its highly successful and well‑established global organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, develop, implement, administer and support the SQL Server 2012/2014 environment across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain applications for service reporting, client portals, and internal systems.
  • Monitor and report on activities, providing relevant management information.
  • Write stored procedures and perform additional development tasks, including C# where required.

Key Skills & Experience

  • SQL Server 2012 / 2014 – including clustering, performance tuning, security and replication.
  • Good understanding of SSRS and SSIS.
  • Experience in database design and development.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server 2003, 2008 and system administration 2012 (advantageous but not essential).
  • Some software development skills (C#, VB.NET, .NET) are an advantage.
  • Strong reporting skills and the ability to write stored procedures.

Up to £40,000 + benefits, flexible working hours, accessible by public transport from most places in the East Midlands (Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield, Leicester).
