Our client is a profitable and rapidly expanding Software House. They are seeking a Software Support Analyst / Application Support Engineer to join their busy Software Support team. Full training in the client’s software and formal SQL qualifications & certifications will be provided. Hours are 9-5, Monday – Friday (no shift work).
Responsibilities
- Work in an Application Software Support/Customer Support role
- Log calls and handle 1st‑3rd line software support issues
- Assist in software implementation – remote and onsite
- Write scripts and interrogate databases using SQL Server, T‑SQL
- Work within similar environments such as Enterprise, CRM, or Financial software
- Engage with customers and provide support to external clients
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Application Software Support / Customer Support role
- Experience dealing with 1st‑3rd line software support issues
- Familiarity with enterprise, CRM, or financial software environments
- Proficiency with SQL Server and T‑SQL; ability to write scripts and interrogate databases
- Understanding of programming concepts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass thorough screening/clearance due to the nature of the client’s customers
