Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Release Engineer to support a client’s transition to a DevOps environment. This hybrid role involves Software Release, Configuration Management, Application & IT Support, and participation in cloud initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, create, and manage build and deployment pipelines (MSBuild, Bamboo, Jenkins, Selenium, PowerShell, Redgate).
  • Deploy code, configure systems, and create automated scripts to streamline release processes.
  • Develop and maintain change control and release procedures.
  • Provide application support for both desktop and Web applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business and support IT infrastructure and network components.
  • Assist with cloud projects on the roadmap.

Qualifications

  • Experience in software release to high‑availability environments.
  • Strong background in automation/DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Configuration or Application Support.
  • Knowledge of T‑SQL, IIS, and networking infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages.
  • Understanding of modern software development technologies and methodologies.
  • Background in IT infrastructure or application support for desktop or Web.
