Overview
We are looking for an experienced Software Release Engineer to support a client’s transition to a DevOps environment. This hybrid role involves Software Release, Configuration Management, Application & IT Support, and participation in cloud initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and manage build and deployment pipelines (MSBuild, Bamboo, Jenkins, Selenium, PowerShell, Redgate).
- Deploy code, configure systems, and create automated scripts to streamline release processes.
- Develop and maintain change control and release procedures.
- Provide application support for both desktop and Web applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business and support IT infrastructure and network components.
- Assist with cloud projects on the roadmap.
Qualifications
- Experience in software release to high‑availability environments.
- Strong background in automation/DevOps practices.
- Experience with Configuration or Application Support.
- Knowledge of T‑SQL, IIS, and networking infrastructure.
- Proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- Understanding of modern software development technologies and methodologies.
- Background in IT infrastructure or application support for desktop or Web.
