You will work closely with development teams and colleagues in developing the architecture of their software products.
We need a Data Architect who has a strong commercial background and has progressed from SQL DBA to Architect, with an understanding of information systems and data life‑cycle management best practices, methodologies and SDLC.
Key skills required: data modelling, data policies development, data warehousing, SQL development & administration.
Responsibilities Develop and own a data strategy and associated policies.
Responsible for data governance, data architecture principles and standards.
Identify improvements in our data systems.
Participate in selecting the best systems for data storage, retrieval and management.
Lead the DBA team.
