Qualifications & Experience
- Proven C# experience in the development of graphics-based software
- Experience building software to create 3D models
- Experience with OpenGL or DirectX, or similar; games-related programming
Role and Responsibilities
- Maintaining and ensuring the responsiveness of these applications
- Collaborating with the engineering team on new feature design and launch
- Developing cloud-based solutions with messaging and notification APIs in a micro-service architecture
- Solving complex mathematical and geometric problems
- Developing 3D graphical and CAD applications
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core
- Experience with cloud-based solutions and micro-service architecture
- Strong mathematical and geometric problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of 3D graphical/CAD application development
- Understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodology
Desirable Knowledge
- Knowledge of design patterns (DDD, CQRS), graphics libraries (e.g., Open Cascade, Parasolid, ACIS)
- NoSQL database experience (AWS Dynamo preferred, MongoDB or Azure Cosmos considered)
Salary & Benefits
Salary up to 70K + 25 days holiday. Role is based in the East Midlands area, 2 days a week in the office – commutable from Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Sheffield and North Birmingham.
