About the Role
UK Success story is looking for an experienced (5 years or equivalent) NOC Engineer / Network Engineer to join a newly established team.
This Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineer will be responsible for performing technical analysis of system issues and outages as they occur across customer enterprise networks, documenting mitigation strategies and maintaining current and thorough knowledge of customer technologies and their significance to customer operations. The role operates within a 24x7 environment with critical uptime requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform technical analysis of system issues and outages across customer enterprise networks.
- Document mitigation strategies and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of customer technologies.
- Monitor LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP systems, servers, storage, backup, operating systems and core applications.
- Work in a 24x7 environment with critical uptime requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5 years or equivalent experience as a NOC Engineer / Network Engineer.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience supporting and monitoring network systems, Windows/Linux servers, storage, and custom SaaS applications in an enterprise environment.
- Previous NOC experience strongly preferred.
- SQL knowledge.
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
