A Startup Software House based out of London is looking for a Senior Developer / Architect with expertise in Back End Python Django design and development. This company specialises in using Big Data and AI / Machine Learning to build better infrastructure for clients on a global scale.
We are looking for a Senior Developer / Architect who is a natural leader, excellent problem solver, analytical thinker, and has a natural curiosity. Your primary focus will be the backend solution; however, if you have some front end skills then that will be looked upon favourably – React, Angular etc.
This Senior Python Developer / Architect will be responsible for:
- Tech lead of this small development team (not line management)
- Architecture design
- Writing effective, scalable code
- Developing back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
- Integrating user-facing elements into applications
- Improving functionality of existing systems
- Implementing security and data protection solutions
- Mentoring and coaching
To be considered for this role we need you to come with a minimum of 7 years or equivalent time served in software development and design complemented by 3 years of Python / Django experience. Any Database knowledge such as MySQL and WEB tech would be advantageous. A degree in Computer Science or similar is preferred.
Their modern office facility is based in East London. You will be required to be in the office once every two weeks. Salary on offer is up to 75K + Benefits. Flexi hours. Candidates of all ages and backgrounds will be considered for this role.
