Overview
This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Product Installation Engineer / Support Engineer with extensive SQL Server and database knowledge to join a progressive global software house’s growing support function. The role supports the installation and support of specialist software and application suites for a global client base, with 90% office‑based work and occasional international travel.
Responsibilities
- Install specialist SQL Server based systems and products.
- Utilise specialist installation experience and SQL Server knowledge.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support, application support, and customer service.
- Prepare and deliver training and documentation for such systems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ commercial (or equivalent) experience installing specialist SQL Server based systems & products.
- Extensive product installation experience.
- Strong SQL Server and database knowledge.
- Good problem‑solving skills and excellent communication.
- Experience working within a regulated environment and following procedures and processes.
- Experience developing training documents and materials.
- ITIL environment experience or qualifications.
