An award‑winning software house is recruiting a Principal Java Developer.

The role involves using design, analysis, tools, documentation and language capabilities to deliver software functionality.

You will collaborate with other Java developers on design decisions, provide direction for application requirements, report to the Technical Team Leader and mentor junior staff when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java SE/JEE applications.
  • Lead architecture decisions and drive application design.
  • Write clean, testable code using JUnit, JAX‑RS, CDI, EJB, JPA and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement solutions on Wild Fly8 and other servers.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote best practices.
  • Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of professional Java experience.
  • 3+ years of JEE experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Java SE, JDK 7, JEE/J2EE, Wild Fly8, JAX‑RS, CDI – Weld, EJB 3 stateless session beans, JPA.
  • JEE certification or Sun/Oracle Java certification is desirable.
  • Experience with XML, SOAP, Eclipse IDE, UNIX, Redmine.
