Exclusive to Ascent People – International company specialising in the implementation services on Engineering and software development projects is looking for a PLM Operations Manager or Programme Manager. With offices splashed around the globe, their UK hub is based in the Midlands and can be easily reached via M42/M6.

This PLM Operations Manager role will have you reporting directly into the MD and will regard you as a senior manager within the company. A client facing role so the ability to travel is a must. This will not be overly intrusive but will get you packing your bags for an overseas trip every couple of months to northern Europe.

You will also support the MD and Sales Director in the bid/tender process for any new potential clients. Therefore, pre/sales and/or presentation skills are essential. You must be able to show a proven background in PLM, a true understanding of this industry and domain, its past and an opinion on its future. CAD/CATIA is also highly regarded.

An engineering degree is a must alongside any project or programme management qualifications such as Prince II, PMP or MSP. This is a very diverse role. It’s not for the faint hearted as they are extremely dynamic and things move and change at a rate of knots. We are looking for someone who can challenge the norm, who can contribute to the overall success of this company and potentially become a partner in the future – exciting stuff.

Salary on offer is around the 70-80K base + package, free parking, but we are flexible to get the right person on board. We are looking for experience; this is not a role with a 6 month settling in period, you have to hit the ground running as there is a healthy pipeline of projects waiting to be delivered. Candidates of all ages and backgrounds will be considered for this role.
