Job Summary

Exciting global manufacturing client is looking to bring on an experienced Payroll Manager who can apply a fresh approach to their complex payroll environment. We are looking for a hands‑off Strategic Payroll Manager who can work with the various business areas within the organisation and take responsibility for governance, process and procedures. Dealing with all areas of Payroll, having up‑to‑date knowledge of UK requirements and legislation. This is a role where we are looking for someone who can transform our payroll department. An ideas person who is great at getting the best out of their team. An advocate of learning & development as well as driving forward the latest services for payroll in a large, complex organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee payroll governance, processes and procedures
  • Support various business areas
  • Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation
  • Lead payroll transformation initiatives
  • Manage a team
  • Promote learning & development

Qualifications

  • Formal Payroll Management Qualification
  • Understanding and experience of Public & Private Sector Payroll
  • Payroll Systems Project Management Experience
  • Understanding and experience of TUPE transitions
  • Payroll Systems configuration and Data Reporting experience
  • Leadership/People Management experience
