Responsibilities
- Act as the sole Network specialist for a global, ever‑evolving network, designing, implementing and ensuring all network security complies with best practice.
- Build and redesign the network from the ground up for a global client.
- Work alongside an infrastructure team and be responsible for the network, providing a blank canvas to introduce suitable technologies.
- Mentor other team members in best practice, ensuring standards are met.
- Manage BAU requirements and work on projects related to network improvements.
Technical Skills
- Networking technologies: Cisco, Brocade, HP, Checkpoint, Avaya.
- Switches/Routers, WAN/VPN, Firewall/Router administration.
- Enterprise IDS Administration.
