This is a Back End development role but with Full Stack capacity if you want it. You will work on cutting‑edge software products in a fully established and competent development team reporting to the Development Manager.
Technical environment:
- C#, .Net 4.5+, VB.Net, Win Forms, SQL Server, T‑SQL, WCF/WPF, Desktop, JavaScript, Angular, HTML/CSS
As a .Net software engineer, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into software solutions, researching and developing algorithms, and programming in C# or VB.Net. You will estimate, design and implement the logic that delivers system functionality and test your solutions adequately.
DotNet Development is done in an Agile/Scrum environment, therefore previous experience of this methodology and familiarity with working to sprints is preferred. You should also have solid knowledge in WPF and/or MVVM.
We are looking for an individual who understands the importance of teamwork, has excellent communication skills, and good problem-solving skills. This is a permanent role with a strong and exciting future.
Salary & Benefits: up to £40,000 - £45,000 + 25 days holiday. The office is based in the Midlands, easily commutable from Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry, and Derby. 1 day a week in the office.
