Manual Tester, Software Tester, Test Analyst, Tester, QA Tester, Quality Assurance, Application Tester – 2 days in the office – Software House 35K.
* Do you have 5 years+ testing experience (or equivalent)?
* Do you understand the difference between functional and non-functional testing?
* Have you done exploratory testing?
This East Midlands-based Software House is looking for a solid Software Tester to join their testing team. Excellent opportunity for cross-training into automation.
You must have a solid foundation in testing, understand and be able to articulate functional/non-functional testing, exploratory testing.
You’ll be delivering a high standard of testing with best practices and testing procedures. Due to natural growth of the development team and project demands, this is an exciting time to join this client at a time of expansion.
You will work closely with fellow test colleagues, and other areas of the development team.
Ideal experience to have:
- 5+ years experience with manual software testing tools & SDLC (software development life cycle) understanding/knowledge as well as SQL knowledge and skills
- Pride yourself on delivering testing to a high standard with best practices and procedures
- ISTQB, BCS or ISEB qualified desirable but not a must
