Responsibilities
You will lead and manage the project test team’s activities, working closely with fellow test colleagues, development managers, stakeholders, business analysts and project managers. Despite the leadership role, you will primarily remain hands‑on, performing testing tasks on projects.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with manual software testing tools and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience leading or managing projects or test teams.
- ISTQB or ISEB qualification.
- Experience with automated testing and framework creation.
- Experience supporting test managers/lead testers is highly desirable; this role may suit a test architect as well.
Contract Details
This is an initial 3‑month contract with the likelihood to extend to 12+ months. Day rate offered is £350‑400 per day, dependent on experience.
Location & Commute
The role is based near Birmingham in the West Midlands and is easily commutable from Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Halesowen, Wallsall, Kidderminster and most places in the West Midlands.
