This market‑leading organization is undergoing a large technical transformation and expansion. We are looking to strengthen our IT / Cyber Security presence by hiring a hands‑on Information Security Manager / Engineer to upgrade, implement and enhance key systems throughout the business.

As an Information Security expert within the organization, you will report to the Head of I&O and work closely with senior management across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement industry best practices in Information Security management.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards and their practical application.
• Utilize and maintain tools and technologies to protect and monitor information security.
• Apply data protection, GDPR, information governance policies and good practice.
• Develop and manage information security metrics.
• Deliver ISO 27001 security standard implementation.
• Conduct information security training and awareness programs.

This role offers a lot of flexibility. You may work from home, but will be expected to attend the East Midlands office once or twice a month to participate in meetings and collaborate with teams.
