We are looking for a Lead Developer to head a new Agile/Scrum product development team. The role blends hands-on programming with line-management responsibilities. Passionate about software development, especially web API / ASP.NET C# MVC / WPF / MVVM. Influence technology direction and drive best practices. Excellent communicator who motivates and empowers the development team. Lead a team of developers, testers, and business analysts (80/20 split favouring hands-on coding). Hands-on development with responsibility for code quality, architecture, and delivery. Line-management duties, including performance reviews and mentoring.
Required technical expertise:
- C# / .NET
- RESTful Web Services
- Responsive and adaptive design
- Full-stack development experience (ideally)
- MVC / MVVM patterns
- JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS / jQuery (training provided)
