An award-winning software house is recruiting for a Junior Java Developer. You will be required to use specific design, analysis, tools, documentation and language capabilities to provide the required functionality for the development of the software. You will be working with the other Java Developers on design decisions and the direction of the application requirements. You will be reporting to the Technical Team Leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other Java Developers on design decisions.
  • Support development of applications using Java SE and J2EE.
  • Implement services using JAX‑RS, CDI, Weld, and EJB 3 stateless session beans.
  • Participate in documentation, analysis and testing.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in Java development.
  • Knowledge of Java SE, JDK 7, and J2EE.
  • Experience with Wildfly 8, JAX‑RS, CDI‑Weld, EJB 3 stateless session beans, and JPA.
  • Some knowledge of JEE is desirable.
