Overview
Contract IT Systems Administrator needed for a leading Nottingham based software company. The role involves administration, maintenance, implementation, configuration and upgrade of IT systems within a DevOps team, along with coordinating with other departments to maintain best practices, policies and procedures.
Contract Details
Initial 3‑month contract with potential to extend, dependent on the upcoming and ongoing programme of work. Day rate up to £375/day, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, implement, configure and upgrade Windows based IT systems.
- Ensuring best practice, policies and procedures across systems.
- Perform analysis and diagnostics of systems to resolve or escalates issues.
Key Skills
- Previous experience in systems, applications and software based administration roles.
- Proficient with Windows OS: Windows 2012, Windows 2016, Windows 8, Windows 10.
- Strong SQL Server experience – interpretation, analysis and reconfiguration of SQL code as well as SQL reporting.
Desirables
- DevOps experience.
- Knowledge of MS Windows Server.
- Networking & TCP/IP knowledge.
