Description: Contract IT Systems Administrator, SQL Server, DevOps, processes & procedures, SQL reporting – 3-month contract – £350-375 a day – Nottingham, East Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Contract IT Systems Administrator with solid SQL Server experience to join a leading Nottingham based software company who offer industry specific products and highly technical software offerings. Due to increased work demands, they require an IT Systems Admin with extensive SQL Server experience and DevOps knowledge to hit the ground running and join the team to ensure completion of crucial system enhancements. This is an initial 3-month contract with potential to extend, dependent on the upcoming and ongoing programme of work.
Key Skills:
- Previous systems, applications and software based administration roles
- Microsoft SQL Server – able to interpret, analyse and reconfigure SQL code
- Good level of SQL reporting
Desirables:
- MS Windows Server, Networking & TCP/IP
You will be administering, maintaining, implementing, configuring and upgrading IT systems within the DevOps team as well as co‑ordinating with other departments so a high level of best practice as well as policies and procedures is a must. Further responsibilities will include analysis and diagnostics of systems to ensure issues are resolved/escalated.
Day rate on offer is up to £375/day dependent on experience. This client is based in Nottingham accessible from most places in the East Midlands: Loughborough, Leicester & Derby as well as Chesterfield and South Sheffield though overheads are low if staying away through the week.
