We are working with a global retail client with over 25 years of history. They occupy modern office facilities (currently fully remote) in the heart of London and have a presence in over 10 countries worldwide. The organization prides itself on its sustainability and environmental program and is steadily growing. They are seeking a sole IT Systems Administrator to primarily look after their ERP solution and business applications while also supporting their internal IT environment. The role involves working in conjunction with a 3rd party IT provider and managing that relationship.
Responsibilities
- Look after ERP systems (SAGE, Epicor, Navision, Vintner) and SQL Server.
- Provide general business as usual IT support for Windows, Linux, MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Access.
- Manage 1st-line support for all internal staff.
- Run SQL-based reporting and Power BI or Business Objects reporting where needed.
- Participate in and drive migration and upgrade projects.
- Contribute to IT strategy in collaboration with senior management.
- Maintain web and application business systems.
Qualifications
- Experience looking after ERP systems.
- Experience working with third-party IT service suppliers.
- Confidence to act as sole IT administrator.
- Strong technical skills in ERP (SAGE, Epicor, Navision, Vintner), SQL Server, Windows, Linux, MS Office suite.
- Knowledge of SQL reporting, Power BI or Business Objects advantageous.
- Commercial awareness and ability to embed within the business.
Other Information
