Who We Are Looking For:
- Experience working with VM Ware
- Experience with Windows Server 2008-2016
- Comfortable working with Office 365 and scripting in PowerShell or similar
Role Summary:
We have a 2nd/3rd Line Support role with an IT UK Success Story. Internal IT role. Seeking all-rounders, engineers who can work in multiple technology environments and engage with users remotely and deskside. Required knowledge of VM Ware and O365. Scripting skills such as PowerShell for software release are ideal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical expertise in Windows Server 2008-2016, VM Ware, Office 365, RDBMS SQL Server
- Deliver excellent customer service and experience
- Asset management of hardware and software
- Build and deploy server architecture with supporting documentation in line with company standards
- Provide support during defined maintenance weekends as required
- Contribute to analysis of current resourcing usage and future requirements to ensure resources and systems are at the correct level to achieve IT Service target
- Monitor performance against contractual service targets and take appropriate action to deliver to IT Service target
- Build strong partnership relationships with customers
