Description
A client‑facing Infrastructure Design Manager / Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Technical Consultant, responsible for advising on IT strategy, project implementation and support across multiple organisations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage infrastructure design projects from concept through to implementation.
- Assist pre‑sales teams with design proposals and technical training.
- Provide technical expertise during project support and delivery.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Extensive experience with Windows Server, Unix/Linux, VMware, Citrix, Hyper‑V, PowerShell, Active Directory, Cisco UCS, networking.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
Salary & Benefits
£50,000 – £60,000 per annum; Pension; Health coverage; 25 days holiday; relaxed office environment.
City centre location commutable from Nottingham, Leicester, Derby.
