Overview

Fantastic opportunity for a Cyber Security Engineer / Information Security Engineer who has proven experience of working with Enterprise Software Applications on the WEB and/or Cloud. This role might suit a Software Developer / Architect who has moved into Cyber security or an Information Security Specialist who has advised on Cyber security around software development not just infrastructure and networking.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying our client’s product cybersecurity needs.
  • Establishing threat modelling analysis & procedures around threat modelling for future development of these products.
  • Risk focus, and knowledgeable of frameworks like ISO27002.
  • Providing input into assessing platform architecture, technology stacks and 3rd party/open source product choices from a cybersecurity point of view.
  • Define secure coding practices.
  • Penetration testing activities.

Qualifications

  • Formal qualifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, GIAC, GCIH, EnCE or similar.
  • Experience with tools such as NGFW, WAF, SEIM, web application testing and vulnerability scanners.
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable presenting and holding meetings.
  • Ability to lead on all cybersecurity matters and mentor other team members.

Benefits

Salary & Benefits: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, Pension, Flexi Hours, 25 days holiday. Candidates of all ages and backgrounds will be considered for this role.

Location and Site: Role is based out of the East Midlands site, commutable from Nottingham, Derby and Leicester.
