Overview
We are looking for a Hands‑On DevOps Manager / Team Leader to lead a brand new team and deliver a cloud based infrastructure using a DevOps approach.
Responsibilities
- 50/50 line‑management and hands‑on DevOps duties
- Own and deliver against a Cloud and Infrastructure roadmap covering all software programmes
- Work with heads of technology departments to secure a stable and automated build, deploy and test process for software products
- Provide leadership and mentoring to direct reports
- Continuously review, improve and ensure compliance with appropriate technical standards
- Ensure effective communication of all developments and releases to the appropriate business areas
Qualifications
We expect the following experience and skills:
- Microsoft cloud technologies
- Software delivery and Agile development experience
- Good understanding of Application Lifecycle Management approaches and tools including VSTS
- Ability to extract and clearly present key risks and issues
- Strong time‑management, prioritisation and organisational skills
