We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, create, and develop cloud infrastructure for our software house. You will work closely with the development manager, dev team, and technical architect.
Responsibilities:
- Design, create, and develop cloud solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Maintain infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Azure, Docker, or Octopus
Requirements:
- Hands-on commercial DevOps experience
- Cloud-based infrastructure knowledge – primarily GCP, with experience in AWS or Azure also desirable
- Understanding of modern development processes
- Experience with CI/CD using Azure and Docker or Octopus
- Driven, self-motivated, and able to hit the ground running
This client is open to candidates with either an infrastructure or a software background. You will be required in the office only two days per week. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Octopus, PowerShell, Python, and other tools as our client releases its suite of software and applications to the cloud. You will work from a modern office facility in the Midlands, with commutable access from Nuneaton, Coventry, Leicester, M1, M6, and M40.
What we need from you is proven experience working with all things DevOps and cloud.
Salary & Package: Base salary up to £45–55k, home / remote working and an attractive benefits package. Candidates of all ages and backgrounds will be considered for this role.
