Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Engineer/Service Desk Analyst to join the IT team during a significant change. This well‑established, award‑winning company has grown during the pandemic, opened new sites, and invested in a multi‑million‑pound technology initiative. Key responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact for phone calls and emails regarding IT and software issues and queries.
- Escalate unresolved calls to L3 and infrastructure support team.
- Maintain an Asset Database and track changes.
- Take ownership of user problems and follow up the status, communicating progress in a timely manner.
- Publish support documentation to assist staff with requests for information.
- Report to Team Lead on any issue that could significantly impact the business.
Candidate profile:
- 2+ years of IT Support Desk experience (or equivalent).
- Self‑motivated achiever who gains satisfaction from providing excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
- Excellent organisational and problem‑solving ability.
