Job Description
International Software House seeks an experienced Data Architect / SQL Server Architect to lead a team of DBAs and collaborate closely with development teams on the architecture of software products. The role involves developing and owning a data strategy, establishing data governance and architecture principles, identifying improvements, selecting appropriate systems, leading the DBA team, and managing projects with agile methodology.
Responsibilities
- Developing and owning a data strategy and associated policies.
- Responsible for data governance, data architecture principles, and standards.
- Identifying improvements in data systems.
- Involved in selecting the best systems for data storage, retrieval, and management.
- Leading the DBA team.
- Project management.
Qualifications
- Strong commercial background, progression from SQL DBA to architect.
- Experience leading a team of DBAs.
- Deep understanding of information systems and data lifecycle management best practices, methodologies, and SDLC.
- Proficiency in data modelling, data policy development, data warehousing, SQL development, and administration.
