Description:
Fantastic opportunity for a Cyber Security Engineer / Information Security Engineer with proven experience of working with Enterprise Software Applications on the WEB and/or Cloud.
Role:
- Identifying the client’s product cybersecurity needs
- Establishing threat modelling analysis & procedures for future development of these products
- Risk focus, and knowledge of frameworks like ISO27002
- Providing input into assessing platform architecture, technology stacks and 3rd party/open source product choices from a cybersecurity point of view
- Defining secure coding practices
We are looking for a Security Specialist who has formal qualifications in Cyber such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, GIAC, GCIH, EnCE or similar and has worked with tools such as NGFW, WAF, SEIM, Web Application Testing and Vulnerability Scanners. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will also get involved in penetration testing. You should be an excellent communicator and be very comfortable presenting and holding meetings.
This role is based out of the Midlands site, commutable from Birmingham, Tamworth and Stafford.
Salary & Benefits: £65,000 – £75,000, Pension, Flexi Hours, 25 days holiday.
