C# Developer, .Net Programmer, .Net 4.5+, VB.Net, Windows/Win Forms, SQL Server, T-SQL, LINQ, WPF/WCF, Visual Studio 2010, Crystal Reports – 35/45K. 1 day in the office – Flexi working.
- Can you show proven C# and/or VB.Net experience in commercial software development?
- This is Back End development role but with Full Stack capacity if you want it.
- Do you have experience in developing commercial applications?
Role: This is a Desktop development role with access to some web development if you have an interest in that – C# / .Net Windows / SQL developer – mid-level role. You will work on cutting-edge software products. This is an opportunity to work in a fully established and competent development team reporting to the Development Manager. A great Dev Manager, very forward and modern in his approach to development and the environment he creates for his team. Lots of flexibility.
Technical environment: C#, .Net 4.5+, VB.Net, Win Forms, SQL Server, T-SQL, WCF/WPF, Crystal Reports.
As a .Net software engineer you will work on the development of engineering-biased software products and benefit from cross training into the full product range this company has to offer.
As a .Net Software Engineer you will be responsible for translating business requirements into software solutions. This requires researching and developing the algorithms and programming in C# or VB.Net. You will estimate, design and implement the logic that delivers system functionality and is capable of adopting an end-user perspective to test their solutions adequately.
DotNet Development is all done in an Agile/Scrum environment, therefore previous experience of this methodology and familiarity of working to sprints is preferred. You should also have solid knowledge in WPF and/or MVVM.
We are looking for an individual who understands the importance of teamwork, has excellent communication skills and has good problem‑solving skills.
This is a permanent role with a strong and exciting future.
Salary & Benefits: up to 40-45K + 25 days holiday. The office is based in the East Midlands so when you do need to be in the office it is easily commutable from Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry and Derby. 1 day a week in the office.
