Business Analyst Team Leader (software development)
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst Team Leader with software development experience to join our growing Business Analysis team in Northampton.
Location: Northampton, East Midlands
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts, providing coaching, goal setting and performance reviews.
- Coordinate with development teams (SDLC knowledge required) and test teams to ensure timely delivery of web/software applications in Waterfall environments.
- Manage resource allocation, work delegation, hiring, and conduct one-to-one meetings.
- Act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders and external customers, ensuring clear requirements and delivery.
- Deliver training and strategic planning for the Business Analysis discipline within the organisation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a team leadership role within Business Analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of SDLC, especially Waterfall, with a focus on web/software delivery.
- ISEB or equivalent BA certification and formal training.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and mentoring skills.
- Experience hiring, resource management, and handling HR duties such as sickness and onboarding.
